Our fundraising activities over the Christmas period have allowed us to purchase a shed. This has now been delivered and will be in use as soon as we can persuade someone to put it up for us. Any volunteers?

As everyone is aware the village was without power for several days last week. We were unable to open playgroup because the heater is gas operated. The situation regarding people who have paid for sessions when the playgroup was not open will be discussed at the next committe meeting. All are welcome to come and make their opinion heard - Monday April 3rd 8.30 pm at playgroup.

Playgroup ran a stall selling pancakes, soup, hot chocolate and cakes. As well as a find santa treasure map. Despite dismal weather we made over £100. Thanks to everyone involved and to those who supported us.

CHRISTMAS FAIR 13/12/05

Many thanks to everyone for helping at or supporting this event. The final total of money raised is not in yet but will be in the region of £250 a superb effort and definately enough to get a shed for the outside play area.
