FIRE PROCEEDURE:
We have a fire drill every half term and details of supervisors responsibilities are displayed on the notice board.
ACCIDENT / ILLNESS PROCEEDURE:
In the event that a child becomes ill or injured every effort will be made to contact the child's partent/ carer as soon
as possible. However if the illness or injury is severe an ambulance will be summoned immediately and the parent / carer
contacted.
The first aider on duty will be known to all adults and will deal with any accidents/ illness as they arise.
All supervisors are qualified first aiders.
THE SICK CHILD:
If you know that ypu child has a contagious illness, please keep them at home.
EG conjunctivitis, Impetigo, vomiting, diarrhoea, chicken pox.
If your child becomes sick during a session and has to be sent home please keep child at home for at least 48 hours to
prevent reinfection.
