ADMISSIONS POLICY

All pre school children are welcome at Marsden Playgroup. Names can be placed onto the waiting list from birth, but will not start playgroup until they are 21/2 years old.

Children are admitted strictly by date of birth order. As soon as they are 21/2 years old and we have places available we can start immediately.

Initially they will be offered one or two sessions per week depending on the availability of places. If there are more extra places and no cildren waiting that are 21/2 years old extra sessions are offered again to the oldest children in age order.

We require two weeks notice when your child is leaving, fees must be paid up to this point.

AGE RANGE
Marsden pre school Playgroup concentrates on providing a safe and caring enviroment for children between the ages of 21/2 and 5 years.
We have a ratio of 1 adult to 6 children
All our planning reflects this age range and planning sheets are always on display on the Theme Board for you to look at (The board nearest the nam table)

The fees are now £3.30 per session, you will recieve an envelope at the start of each half term in which to enclose your fees. The envelopes are then placed into the red bucket in playgroup which is labelled FEES. There will also be a £3 enrollment fee included in your first envelope.

If you have any problems, please approach us in confidence. All sessions allocated to you must be paid for even if your child does not attend due to your holidays, illness, etc (unless your child is in hospital)

The fees are increased by 10p per session every September to keep in line with escalating costs.

We are Ofsted registered this means that government funding is available to pay for the fees for children who are over 3 years of age. Please ask us for further details.
